Canva Code 2.0 Brings AI Website Building to Everyone

Canva has launched Canva Code 2.0, an upgraded AI-powered tool that allows people to create interactive websites, apps, presentations, and digital experiences using plain-language prompts.

The feature is now available to Canva’s entire user base of more than 265 million monthly users, including people on free, education, and nonprofit accounts. Paid plans receive more AI credits and higher usage limits, but the core tool is accessible across every pricing tier.

Unlike AI coding platforms that primarily focus on generating functional code, Canva is concentrating on making AI-generated experiences visually polished, editable, responsive, and consistent with a user’s brand. Users can directly edit text, replace images, change fonts and colors, import HTML created by other AI tools, and embed interactive elements inside presentations, whiteboards, and other Canva projects.
