Day 8: The 3 Elements That Are Key to Making AEO and GEO Work

I’ve mentioned entity strenghtening in Day 6 of the Journey to GEO. There, I also told you this comes from our direct experience of boosting the recommendations that the clients of our own marketing agency get from us (and the clients we get to serve from partner-agency collaborations).

In Day 7, I hope you had time to open and learn from Lesson number 4 from the GEO Academy by AISQ Growth. There was a priority matrix that my team has spent a lot of time on (the other instructors who are teaching the GEO Academy). That priority matrix helps a lot.

But for Day 8, I want to offer you a bit more:

– Clear entities and “entity clarity”
– Fresh signals in multiple places
– Repeating information across multiple surfaces in exactly the same way

Those 3 elements are key to making GEO work for you.

I’ve prepared this video for you to understand how marketing will work during Q4 of 2026 and then in 2027:

Video on TikTok | Video on Youtube

You will find the elements you’ll be able to influence to gain new clients, revenue and to grow in 2027.

Now, to make the idea of “entities” and “entity strengthening” clearer:

– Explain your business clearly: who you are, what you offer, whom you help, and what makes your expertise credible.

– Publish useful answers: address the questions customers ask before making a decision.

– Connect the evidence: connect articles, services, products, authors, and supporting pages. (make it easy for AI systems to stumble upon these information)

– Keep information current: publish new knowledge and update content when facts, offers, or customer needs change.- Distribute and improve: bring content to audiences, examine performance, and use what you learn.

In our work as AISQ Growth (as a full-service marketing agency), we had a client who asked for our help to “get on ChatGPT”. What we did, was we asked the client to give us a list of all the names of equipment they were using in their auto repair shop (YES, we work with many industries, but we do get lots of auto repair services working with us).

We started including information about each repair work performed, along with the equipment used.

These made stronger signals for expertise and proof of work actually being done by the brand entity.

Because the strength of this was now out of this world compared to other shops in the area, theirs became ranked on Google and Bing and also recommended by AI systems.

I’m not telling you something experimental here:

– Entity data has been important for years. It’s just that right now: it is vital and it is proven to work.

Clear entities matter more than ever before.

If you want an X-Ray into this done by my team for your business, try to establish a live session here. Irina will check the facts and ask you a few questions, as is written on the page. Then, if all is good, I’ll have a live session (1-on-1 on Google Meet; only me and you) with you to discuss the results.

From today’s Day 8 of the Journey, you know what kinds of entities you need to include.

However, the biggest mistake that brands make is only posting once on a web page and then consider it: job done!

That’s a big problem.

It will keep coming up during the GEO Academy: doing something only once is bad.

If you signal a certain set of entities only once, it will only work (maybe…) for a short while. If you do something like I give in this example inside the JourneyTeam group, then you need to keep this in mind:

“what does child to pony interactions means?” “can we buy lemonade or healthy drinks at the location?”

– the answers to those questions need to keep being repeated on the company’s social media profiles.

One answer = about 2 weeks interval.

If you keep that in mind and do it, you will be fine.

This isn’t something you can ask Claude or ChatGPT about. This is from real marketing work done by Industry PROs in our in-house team.

There are even more benefits for doing this every 2 weeks. It even leads to direct conversions from the humans who are following the profiles.

I will open this subject in a future lesson, because it’s something that the winning companies do and the others don’t. It’s easy to say “social media doesn’t work”, but it usually isn’t handled properly.

I have a bit more about this prepared for tomorrow.
